About the Award |

Young people are highly potential in their skills and creativity. Within the limited opportunity, many of them are serving as young change agents of the society in various capacity but those efforts and initiatives are not highlighted and appreciated by the duty bearers. In order to fill the gap in this sector and promote young change makers, TYCL and MUGHIL jointly announce the "Puducherry Young Social Change Maker Award" from this year onwards. This is first time in Puducherry to honor young social change makers of the region. This award tries to identify and promote young positive social change agents to change the face of Puducherry and its young populace for GOOD. |

Who can Apply ? |
|
- Young people in the age group of 18-30 years.
- Applicant must be from UT of Puducherry.
- Proven leadership in community development and social change with evidences.
- Minimum of one year future commitment to action to address pressing challenges of Puducherry.
- Nominations can be made by anyone who knows nominee's work more than two years in social/professional life and Self-nomination can be made.

How you will be selected ? |
|
Please submit filled-in application on time and late submissions will be rejected.
Eligible candidates will be invited to present before eminent juries that will be intimated by phone and email.
Short listed candidates will be published in our website week before to the award ceremony. |
